DESCRIPTION
$2,000 to a pianist.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Materials Checklist:
  1. Current resume, including Mu Phi Epsilon participation
  2. Two current letters of recommendation
  3. Most recent unofficial college transcript
  4. Biography
  5. Statement detailing how these funds would support attainment of career goals
  6. A detailed budget
  7. A high quality recording of 30-45 minutes of music, including a work written within the last twenty years and contrasting works from different stylistic periods to fulfill the time requirement. Submission must be via links to YouTube or other comparable sites provided to the online application system (YouTube preferred, no Dropbox). Recordings in the Scholarship Application process must not be older than two years from the date of application.
  8. A copy of the score of the contemporary work, if unpublished
  9. List of the recorded repertoire with the following information:
    1. Exact titles, opus numbers
    2. Composers’ names
    3. Timings
  10. Any additional supporting documents relevant to specific field of piano study (i.e., pedagogy, performance, music education, etc.)
  11. $25 Application Fee
